The REIF sector in Luxembourg has grown by 214% since 2006 as revealed by a survey published by the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI).
The survey showed that Luxembourg is the favourable location for establishing multi-sectoral and multi-national real estate investment funds. 22 new REIFs were launched in 2012, from Germany, Switzerland and the UK, but also from Asia, the Americas and Middle East, which shows that Luxembourg real estate has a global appeal.
