An exciting and unique opportunity with a leading global asset manager for an experienced Fund Accounting Specialist to join their Luxembourg team. This role offers exposure to a sophisticated hybrid portfolio spanning Alternative and UCIT’S funds.

Role Overview

This role is suited to someone with strong technical fund accounting skills and a proactive, analytical mindset. You will take ownership of NAV oversight, financial reporting, and operational review for complex fund structures. You will also act as a key point of contact between internal teams, external service providers, and fund administrators.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees NAV processes such as pricing, valuations, performance checks, hedging, swing pricing, and complex instrument accounting.
• Supports financial and regulatory reporting, including statements, audits, key fund metrics, and framework data.
• Performs core fund accounting tasks including cash and portfolio reconciliations, cash oversight, and complex transaction processing.
• Provides guidance to junior team members and contributes to team development.
• Participates in cross‑department projects, contributing to planning, process creation, and timely deliverables.

Key requirements

• Professional qualifications in finance, accounting, or a similar field
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Luxembourg Private Equity or Credit fund accounting, gained either in‑house or through a service provider.
• Solid understanding of Luxembourg fund structures, AIFMD requirements, and investment operations
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with multiple systems and AI-enhanced tools
• Action-oriented, adaptable, and results-driven approach
• Excellent communication skills; fluent English required, other languages a plus
