Luxembourg-domiciled global Sicav Aberdeen Asset Management, has won a transparency award from the German ratings agency Fonds Advice. The October award was given for the Aberdeen Global fund umbrella’s half year report to the end of March.
Fonds Advice’ managing director Matthias Koss said that report contained a lot of investor focused information, information that is often excluded from even annual reports. The six-month report was praised for containing comments of portfolio changes, a capital markets review, performance details and well as information on running costs and portfolio turnover rates.
Aberdeen have also improved their transparency for other Luxembourg-domiciled funds, according to Koss.
