Anne-Laure has over four years’ experience in the recruitment industry and has been working with Funds Talent since July 2017. She started out as a Junior Consultant, then was promoted to Associate Team Leader in just over a year. She was promoted to Team Leader in December 2019.
She has an MA in International Human Resources Management, and studied in France, Finland and the UK.
Why does Anne-Laure like working in recruitment?
Recruitment is fast paced, every day is different, and there’s always a new unexpected situation coming up, which means it’s always really interesting.
I get to work with a variety of interesting people; some are truly passionate about their job. I am always learning, and I enjoy building relationships.
What I like most is to find the right person for the right company/job. To achieve this ultimate goal, you need to have listened carefully to both parties, and when it happens, I get a sense of satisfaction as I know I’ve helped to improve the life of both the hiring manager and the candidate.
The good thing about being specialized within the Funds industry is that we know the market very well and we are able to advise candidates on their career and expected salary. It’s very rewarding to be able to bring your expertise and to help develop people’s careers.
What’s great about Luxembourg?
Luxembourg is very international, you get to meet people with different backgrounds and stories, and I find it very inspiring and fulfilling.
It’s also a small country with a plethora of career opportunities – there are many companies willing to give you a chance based on your personality and motivation, not just on your experience.
